Résumé: الملخص ركزت الدراسة على دراسة اسهامات أنثروبولوجيا الاستشراق في حفظ التراث الإسلامي"الاستشراق البريطاني نموذجا"فعرض الباحث نشأة الاستشراق البريطاني ووضحت الدراسة العلاقة بين الاستشراق بشكل عام والأنثروبولوجيا،وعلاقة الاستشراق البريطاني وعلم الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية بشكل خاص وعلاقة علم الأنثروبولوجيا الاجتماعية بالاحتلال البريطاني،وقد أوضح البحث اهم اسهامات المستشرفين البريطانيين في حفظ التراث العربي الإسلامي،وأهم المستشرقين البريطانيين الذين عملوا على المحافظة على التراث الإسلامي Abstract European Orientalists have produced many works on Arab and Muslim civilization. However, further research is needed to examine their reliability and scientific contribution The study focused on the works of British Orientalists and scholars on Islamic literature. The common view is that Britain was not a prominent contributor to discussions on Islamic literature, nor is British efforts compared to those of other Europeans to study the Islamic literature heritage. From my research, it can be safely stated that British scholars made an important contribution to Islamic literature, adding considerably to our knowledge in this field. However, the interest of the British school in these studies is recent compared with that of other European Orientalist schools
