حجابة الحُكام الأمويين بالأندلس في الاحتفالات الرسمية والمناسبات والأعياد (138-422هـ)/(756-1031م)

Résumé: نظرا لما وصلت إليه الدولة الأموية في الأندلس من أبهة وفخامة فقد أعطي لحجابة الحاكم أهمية كبيرة، في الاحتفالات الرسمية والمناسبات الدينية والأعياد وأثناء استقبال وتوديع الجيوش، وكذا تقديم البيعة للحاكم الجديد، دعت إلى تكليف أهم رجال الدولة مؤقتاً واستثناء بمهمة حجب الخليفة أثناء دخول الزوار والمُهنئين. وقد كانت هذه المجالسُ تتطلّب ترتيباً خاصاً، حسب مكانة ومرتبة كل شخص. Due to the splendor and luxury attained by the Umayyad state in al-Andalus, the practice of concealing the ruler behind screens was considered to be of great importance in official celebrations, religious ceremonies, and during the reception and sending-off of armies. When the oath of allegiance was given to a new ruler, the most important men of state were temporarily given the task of shielding the caliph behind curtains during the entry of visitors and well-wishers. These sessions required a special arrangement as each person had his assigned place.
