Résumé: تتناول هذه الدراسة أحد المواضيع المثيرة للجدل بعد نهاية الحرب الباردة والتحولات التي طرأت على مفهوم الأمن، الذي تجاوز الأمن العسكري بإتجاه أبعاد أخرى بما في ذلك الأمن المائي، حيث اعتبرت المياه من أسباب الصراعات في العديد من المناطق في أفريقيا والشرق الأوسط الذي تشكل فيه أزمة المياه قضية شائكة اعتبرتها الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية أحد مسببات النزاعات في المنطقة مما جعلها تتدخل على نطاق واسع في السياسات المائية لدول المنطقة. ولهذا الغرض، تهدف الدراسة إلى البحث في أزمة المياه في الشرق الأوسط وكيف تعاملت معها السياسة الأمريكية في ضوء الأهمية الإستراتيجية التي تحظى بها منطقة الشرق الأوسط في توجهات السياسة الخارجية الأمريكية والخوف من احتمالات تصاعدها مستقبلا لتشكل بعد جديد من حروب القرن الحادي والعشرين تسمى بــــ" حروب المياه". Abstract : This study deals with one of the controversial topics after the end of the Cold War and the changes that occurred in the concept of security, which exceeded military security in other dimensions, including water security, where water was considered one of the causes of conflicts in many regions in Africa and the Middle East in which a crisis was formed Water is a thorny issue, which was considered by the United States of America as one of the causes of conflicts in the region, which caused it to intervene on a large scale in the water policies of the countries of the region. For this purpose, this study aims to discuss the water crisis in the Middle East and how it dealt with American policy in light of the strategic importance of the Middle East region in the directions of American foreign policy, fear and its potential. The future escalation to form a new dimension to the wars of the twenty-first century called water wars.
