Résumé: ملخص: أتناول في هذا الموضوع وظائف الخطاب في اللسانيات التمهيدية مركزة على: مفهوم اللسانيات التمهيدية مقابل اللسانيات، و لماذا سميت باللسانيات التمهيدية؟ و ما هي الوظائف اللسانية التي تؤديها في الخطاب اللساني ليوصف بالتمهيدي؟ و تأثير ذلك على القراءة و الفهم و التلقي الخاص باللسانيات في عالمنا العربي و بخاصة في الجامعة و منها الجامعة الجزائرية؟ ABSTRUCT : The present paper intends to discuss : « discourse functions in introductory linginguistics » focused on : the concept of introductory linguistics versus linguistic .why is it colled inroductory linguistics ? What are the linguistic functions that it performs in linguistic discourse to be descibed as an introductory one ? What is its effect on reading , undrstanding and reception in our Arab world especially in university , including the Algerian university
