Résumé: مشكلة الميتافيزيقا و العلم في فلسفة برغسون العلم حسب برغسون مرتبط بالعقل الخالص، وهدفه الأساسي التحكم في المادة. أما الميتافيزيقا فموضوعها الروح ومنهجها هو الحدس. و خطأ الفلاسفة أنهم استعملوا المنهج العقلي الخاص بالعلم في دراسة قضايا الميتافيزيقا، لذلك لم يصلوا إلى حلول مقنعة. بل إنهم طرحوا المشكلات الفلسفية بصورة خاطئة، لأنهم لم يميزوا بين المشكلات الزائفة ّوالمشكلات الحقيقية. The problem of metaphysics and science in Bergson's philosophy Bergson's science is related to pure reason (intelligence), and its main purpose is to control matter. Metaphysics is the subject of the soul and its method is intuition. The philosophers' mistake was that they used the mental method of science to study the problems of metaphysics, so that they did not arrive at convincing solutions. They even put the philosophical problems wrong, because they did not distinguish between false problems and real problems
