Contrubition À L'étude Des Instabilites D'écoulment Dans Une Géométrie Carrée
Résumé: The transfer of heat and mass is frequently encountered both in nature and in industry: metallurgy, drying processes, thermal insulation, storage of solar energy are some examples. In our work, we consider a two-dimensional numerical study of natural convection double diffusion in a square enclosure. The latter is filled with a binary fluid and subjected to temperature gradients and horizontal concentration. Both cooperating and opponent are considered. The objective of the study is to show the effect of the thermal Rayleigh number on the flow and heat transfer and mass structure. The effect of Rayleigh number on the stability of the flow is also studied. The results are presented as current lines, isothermal lines, isoconcentration lines and speed profiles in the middle of the enclosure. The results obtained show: - Increasing the Rayleigh number causes an intensification of the flow and heat transfer and mass. - If opponent, when Ra <7.104 flow and stable. When Ra = 7.104 flow branches off to a periodic oscillatory regime.
