واقع اللجوء البيئي في ظل غياب الأساس القانوني

Résumé: اللجوء البيئي هو تحدي معقد يرتبط بالتغيرات المناخية المتزايدة والكوارث الطبيعية المتكررة والظواهر البيئية الناجمة عن النشاطات البشرية، فهذه القضية بحاجة إلى إطار قانوني يوفر الحماية والدعم للأشخاص النازحين بسبب التحديات البيئية والاعتراف بحقوق هؤلاء النازحين وتوفير مأوى آمن وحماية كافية لهم. رغم انعدام الأساس القانوني لحماية اللاجئين إلا أنه لما تحمله هذه القضية من طابع إنساني تم تشكيل مبادرات دولية للتعامل مع قضية اللجوء البيئي وتعزيز التعاون بين الدول للتصدي لتحديات النزوح البيئي وتوفير الدعم اللازم للمتضررين. Environmental asylum is a complex challenge linked to increasing climate change, recurring natural disasters and environmental phenomena resulting from human activities. This issue requires a legal framework that provides protection and support for people displaced due to environmental challenges, recognizing the rights of these displaced persons and providing them with safe shelter and adequate protection. Despite the lack of a legal basis for protecting refugees, because of the humanitarian nature of this issue, international initiatives have been formed to deal with the issue of environmental asylum and enhance cooperation between countries to address the challenges of environmental displacement and provide the necessary support to those affected.
