Résumé: This study aims to clarify the role of electronic payment systems in settling financial transactions, especially in the health conditions experienced by various countries of the world due to the emerging corona virus, by studying the reality and prospects of the electronic payment system and financial transactions in Algeria in light of the Corona pandemic, and to reach accurate results, we used the descriptive approach On the theoretical and analytical side in the practical side, in the end we reached a set of results, among which we mention the important role that the electronic payment system plays in improving and facilitating the conduct of financial and commercial transactions, and modernizing payment systems can be considered one of the most important tasks of banks and financial institutions in order to reduce Transaction costs The electronic payment systems have contributed significantly to limiting the spread of the Corona epidemic in the world and in Algeria in particular, by avoiding individuals mixing and dealing with each other in securities, which may be a cause of transmission of infection
