الدراسة الاثيونباتية لبعض النباتات الطبية والعطرية لمنطقة الجنوب الجزائري

Résumé: A medicinal plant is every plant that contains active substances that have a therapeutic effect and are used in traditional medicine to remove or reduce diseases. Our study focused on the uses of medicinal plants in the southeastern region of Algeria by distributing two types of questionnaire, the first for plants used in the aforementioned region, where the results showed that the most used plant species in this region are glandular types, including mint, fenugreek and wormwood. The percentage of females using medicinal plants ranged more than males by 75%.The results also showed that the elderly are the most treated with plants than others. During the questionnaire, it was found that the aerial part of the plant is the most used. As for the second questionnaire, which was devoted to the plant of the fruit of the desert, it is known in the southern Algerian region by several names. The results showed that this plant is widely used in folk medicine, and the most used part is the fruit by 46.2%, and this study also showed that this plant is used in the form of mixtures. The applied study of the fruit showed that it is rich in saponins, and the percentage of saponification was estimated at 20%. The proportion of oil extracted by a Clevenger device for 50 g of the fruit was estimated at 0.1%, and the proportions of oils extracted from mint were estimated at 1.8%, and wormwood: the amount of oil was very small, because the plant was dry).
