الضغط النفسي وعلاقته بقلق المستقبل لدى مرضى الأورام السرطانية -دراسة ميدانية بمدينتي ورقلة والوادي
Résumé: The current study aimed to identify the relation between psychological stress and future anxiety among cancer patients in the cities of El Oued and Ouargla, to verify the hypotheses of the study, we relied on the correlative descriptive approach. In fact, we applied two scales (Future Anxiety Scale and Psychological stress Scale) to an intentionally selected sample which consisting of 80 patients of the two genders having cancer tumors. The data were processed by the statistical package program SPSS. The study concluded the following results:-Cancer patients experience moderate psychological stress.-Cancer patients experience moderate future anxiety.-There is a moderate, statistically significant correlation between psychological stress and future anxiety among patients with cancer tumors, as the more psychological stress of patients increases the more they worry moderately about the future.-There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stress and future anxiety attributed to the gender variable.There are no statistically significant differences in the level ofpsychological stress among cancer patients attributed to the age variable, while there are statistically significant differences in the level of future anxiety among those patients attributed to the age variable.-There are nostatistically significant differences in the level of psychological stress and level of future anxiety among cancer patients attributed to the duration of treatment variable.
