Résumé: This study seeks to reveal the role of Facebook in academic achievement by studying a sample of Kasdi Merbah University students, where the observation tool and the questionnaire were divided into four axes, to collect data and information from the sample individuals, the research community, which is mainly university students who use Facebook in academic achievement, while the stratified random sample was applied, and a random sample was chosen. This study reached a set of results, perhaps the most important of which are: 1;Students of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences use face book to communicate, interact and exchange information and ideas with friends. Two: The use of face book by students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences did not affect their academic level. Three: We conclude that the Face book site for students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences provides social and cultural gratification. Four: The positive effects of using the face book site on students in a positive way, in terms of exchanging information and ideas with others. 5: The negative impact of using the face book website on the students of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences in a way because it wastes their time and helps them spread lies and rumors
