Résumé: This study aimed to identify the extent to which practitioners of the accounting profession in the state of Ouargla (Algeria) in their capacity as external auditors are committed to applying the requirements of Algerian Standard No. 505 marked “External confirmations” during the performance of his mission To answer the problem of the study, we designed a questionnaire for the purpose of collecting data and distributing it to a random sample of accredited professionals registered in the organization’s table (accounting experts, account keepers and certified accountants) in the state of Ouargla, Algeria, and a program was used to analyze the questionnaire spss. The study concluded that there is dependence on the requirements of the Algerian standard of auditing by the auditors in the state of Ouargla (Algeria) to a moderate degree according to the answers of the study sample, and that the external certifications have a place and importance in supporting the opinion of the external auditor in the Algerian business environment
