Résumé: This paper attempts to shed light on the process of internationalization in higher education these last two decades. More specifically, it will offer an overview of the developments brought to the Higher education field since the independence time. The paper will detail with facts and data about the progress of the internationalization process at the Algerian university level. Overall, the researcher attempts to track the achievements and the shortcomings of the progress within a specific time frame.
