Résumé: Time is an important element in the novel, and it does not have a list, as it gives it an additional and important dimension that has become the focus of attention for scholars in the narrative discourse in general and in the novel in particular, and with the development of the modern novel, the concept of novelist time has developed and the term temporal paradoxes appeared, meaning departure from the natural order of time, whether By going back in time, or by trying to extrapolate the future moment, which is the time and the elements of suspense, movement, and the becoming of events. The successive novel that is organized in a specific linguistic format depends on the sequence of events and their arrangement. The introduction came as a prelude to the concept of temporal paradoxes and the chapter, and the second chapter is applied, in the first chapter the temporal paradoxes in a story that contains thirteen “recall and anticipation” of all kinds, and the second chapter is a temporal lapse in the story group between {accelerating and slowing down the narration and we concluded it with the results reached from the story group.
