Résumé: This project is a study of the harmonic anti-pollution of the electricity distribution network. This pollution is caused mainly by non-linear charges, taking non-sinusoidal currents from the network. Static converters, especially diode and thyristor rectifiers, are of a non-linear nature and represent the main source of injection of harmonic currents into the network. We describe the study of four PWM strategies for rectifier control, hysteresis control, vector control, direct power control, and direct power control with vector modulation. These methods are based either on the direct control of the absorbed currents or on the direct control of the instantaneous powers (DPC). Moreover, they are combined with so-called advanced commands, applied to the control techniques mentioned above. The simulation of all these methods was implemented using the Matlab / SimulinkTM software. These controls have proved their efficiency in terms of reducing the harmonic distortion rate of the currents absorbed, good adjustment of the active and reactive powers and the DC voltage, and operation with unit power factor.
