Résumé: The aim of the research is to identify the reality of nursery school teachers’ use of the story in children’s education and its impact on the language fluency of nursery children and its effectiveness in developing the child’s language skills. The research reached the following results: 􀀀 Kindergarten teachers use the story in teaching in nursery homes. 􀀀 Teaching by the story method has a positive effect on language fluency. 􀀀 Develop awareness and development of the child, as it has several types, such as animal stories, comic stories, heroic stories, adventures, and others. 􀀀 The story contributes to the building of the child from several mental and psychological aspects. From the mental aspect, it develops 􀀀 His mental abilities by stimulating his imagination, while the psychological aspect enhances the child's self-confidence by developing creativity and acquiring vocabulary and words that help them express. 􀀀 The story has a role in developing the four language skills (listening, writing, reading and speaking). Through the story, the speaking skill grows, as it has a clear impact on this skill, as it accustoms them to proficiency and expression in sound language, and helps them to understand the idea and present it clearly, in addition to developing the skill of reading as well. The story is an important factor for possessing this skill. Acquisition of sound linguistic vocabulary and correction of pronunciation, so that he becomes more in control of the exits of letters, the last of which is the skill of writing, through which they can acquire linguistic vocabulary.
