مظاهر من الممارسات النذرية الرومانية في تيمقاد من خلال شواهد الكتابات اللاتينية Manifestations Of Roman Votive Practices In Timgad Through The Evidence Of The Latin Writings

Résumé: قد تم الكشف خلال الحفريات الفرنسية لموقع تيمقاد ما بين نهاية القرن التاسع عشر ومنتصف القرن العشرين على عدد كبير من الكتابات اللاتينية منحوتة على قواعد حجرية، كانت تحمل في اغلبها تماثيل آلهة او شخصيات مرموقة في المجتمع الروماني لمدينة ثاموقادي، تنوعت بين الشرفية والجنائزية والنذرية، وقد حاولت في هذا المقال عرض الجانب النذري منها، المتمثل في إهداءات للآلهة التي تعلق بها الافراد والجماعات في مجتمع تيمقاد خلال الفترة الرومانية. لقد تم إحصاء اثنى عشرة كتابة نذرية مهداة الى آلهة رسمية وأخرى ثانوية رومانية ومنها إلاهة محلية، وقد نحتت جلها على قواعد حجرية ومذابح، في حين نحتت كتابة واحدة على معلم ديني يصطلح عليه Aedicule بمعنى حامل التماثيل، وقد اكتشف هذا الأخير على خلاف الكتابات الاخرى أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، وتعكس هذه الكتابات تعلق المواطن الروماني بمعتقداته في المدينة، والتي ضمنت ولاء سكانها للسلطة الرومانية في روما، وكانت من دواعي استمرار التواجد الروماني في المنطقة لمدة أربعة قرون من الزمن. During the French excavations of the Timgad site between the end of the nineteenth century and the middle of the twentieth century, a large number of Latin writings were discovered carved on stone bases, most of which bore statues of gods or eminent personalities in the Roman society of the city of Thamuqadi, and I tried In this article, he presents the votive side of it, which is represented by dedications to the gods that individuals and groups in Timgad society attached to during the Roman period. Twelve votive writings have been counted dedicated to official and secondary Roman gods, including local deities, were counted, and most of them were carved on stone bases and altars, while one inscription was carved on a religious landmark called Aedicule, meaning the bearer of statues, and these writings reflect the attachment of the Roman citizen to his beliefs in the city.
