Heavy Pathologies: A Reflection On Models Of Care And Efficient Management

Résumé: Chronic diseases are a major challenge for health systems due to their increasing prevalence and considerable socio-economic impact. This article offers an in-depth analysis of the fundamental concepts related to chronic diseases, highlighting their main characteristics, the risk factors associated with them, and the multidimensional approaches to their classification. Particular attention is paid to theoretical frameworks and health models for studying these pathologies, with the aim of structuring appropriate and effective management strategies. The study also examines chronic disease management and management models with a view to optimizing available resources and improving coordination of care. Through an analytical and empirical approach, this article aims to identify the strategic levers to ensure efficient care, taking into account the requirements of modern health systems and the specific needs of patients.
