Résumé: This paper aims to introduce the phonetics of the scholars of Quran Recitation (Tajweed) as a link of the Arabic studies and to demonstrate its scientific value, as it was characterized by authentic method and proficient practice, which is concordant with the specificity of the studied material, namely the ‘Holy Quran’. It also aims to highlight some of the important phonological issues revealed by the modern phonetics which predict a theoretical awareness and a depth of analysis, such as the question of principal, accessory, assimilation and dissimilation, which are phonologic issues, taught at the syntagmatic axis level.
