Résumé: Image segmentation is an important step in any image analysis process. In the literature there are two dual approaches. The contour segmentation approach is to locate the boundaries of objects and the region segmentation approach is to partition the image into a plurality of regions. The objective of this work is to segment the medical images of different structures by different methods. It will be first to present that what’s the image, then present the digital image and carry out a bibliographic study on existing methodologies. We will be particularly interested in methods based on operators and morphological filters for the segmentation task. It will then be necessary to implement and compare some of these methods. The purpose of the implementation is a use of a better medical images segmentation method that assisted the doctors to make a more reliable, precise and rapid diagnosis..
