Photovoltaic Pumping Systems Technologies Trends

Résumé: Recent global developments appear to guarantee a market for green renewable energy. Among several sources of renewable energy currently explored, photovoltaic systems appear to be promising in view of their environmentally clean nature and the advantage of direct conversion to electrical energy. Of course, the sun is the original primary source of most of the other renewable energy resources: wind, wave, hydroelectric, biomass, geothermal...etc. The sun already provides almost all the energy needed to support life as we know it. On W of solar power. The challenge for a sustainable future is to tap a tiny fraction of this energy to supply the relative modest demands of human activities.
