Résumé: يتمحور المقال أساسا حول تفاعل الصحافة العربية الجزائرية مع الهجرة الجزائرية نحو فرنسا في فترة ما بين الحربين العالميتين، بحيث لم تتوان في فضح سياسة فرنسا الإستعمارية الجائرة المفروضة على الشعب الجزائري وإبرازها كعوامل طاردة للجزائريين ودفعهم للهجرة نحو فرنسا بحثا عن حياة أفضل، وانتقاد القيود التي وضعتها الإدارة الاستعمارية في وجه الهجرة الجزائرية تحت تأثير وضغط المستوطنين، خشية من تداعياتها السلبية على اقتصاد المستعمرة، ولدورها في نشر الوعي الوطني، كما دافعت هذه الصحافة باستماتة عن سمعة العمال الجزائريين المهاجرين بفرنسا التي تعرضت للتشويه من قبل الصحافة الاستعمارية، ودعوتها لحمايتهم من العنصرية وضع حد للاستغلال اللاإنساني الذي طالهم The article mainly focuses on the interaction of the Algerian Arab press with the Algerian immigration towards France in the period between the two world wars, so that it did not hesitate to expose the unjust colonial policy of France imposed on the Algerian people and highlight them as factors that expelled the Algerians and pushed them to migrate towards France in search of a better life, and criticize the restrictions set by the colonial administration in the face of Algerian immigration under the influence and pressure of the settlers, fearing its negative repercussions on the colony’s economy, and its role in spreading national awareness.
