Résumé: ملخص: إن حماية أماكن العبادة خلال النزاعات المسلحة تمثل إحدى صور الحماية التي يوفرها القانون الدولي بشكل عام وكذا القانون الدولي الإنساني بشكل خاص باعتبارها تراث ثقافي عالمي وأعيانا مدنية، الأمر الذي دفع بالمجتمع الدولي بالالتزام بحمايتها والعناية بها لكونها الوسيلة الأساسية المجسدة لفكرة حرية العبادة، لم يعد الأمر قاصرا على حماية ضحايا النزاعات المسلحة والتخفيف منها بل امتد ليكفل حماية عناصر أخرى من بينها أماكن العبادة. فترة النزاعات المسلحة. وقد جاء هذا الانفتاح والتوسع كنتيجة طبيعية لما خلفته الحروب والصراعات الدولية عندما تعرضت أماكن العبادة للدمار والنهب والسلب وغيرها من الانتهاكات ولعّل خير دليل ما حدث في العراق وما يحدث في فلسطين الأمر الذي عجل بالمجموعة الدولية للبحث في تنظيم قانوني دولي لحماية أماكن العبادة. Abstract: The protection of worship places during armed conflicts constitutes one of the different aspects provided by international law in general. Worship places or still closely related to customs and traditions that influence socities. This made the international community committed to protect and take care of them as they are representing the most obvious means of the concept of freedom of worship. Protecting worship places reflects the large importance given by the humanitarian international law It established to a particular attention given to worship places considered as a common human cultural heritage.
