Résumé: يهدف هذا المقال إلى دراسة دور محطات الاستراحة البرية قديما، والتعرف على وظائفها باعتبارها من مقومات الحركة التجارية، وضعت على امتداد الطرق، لغرض تسهيل عملية التنقل والراحة من مشقة السفر وتبادل السلع، مما دفعنا لتسليط الضوء على الجذور التاريخية لمحطات الاستراحة البرية للمسالك التجارية، ساعين لتتبع تطور مسارها عبر الزمن، مركزين على الفترة الرومانية، خلال العهد الإمبراطوري الأعلى أنموذجا، باستخدامنا المنهج التحليلي الوصفي للوصول إلى تحقيق النتائج، كما تمت الاستعانة بالدراسات السابقة المتعلقة بالحركة التجارية في بلاد المغرب القديم. وجدير بالذكر، إن إنشاء هذه المحطات ظاهرة قديمة وأصيلة، مارسها الإنسان المحلي منذ فترة ما قبل التاريخ، بالرغم من بساطتها وقلة تجهيزاتها، وانتشرت على المناطق الساحلية في الفترة الفينيقية، وتعززت في منتصف الطرق البرية الداخلية في الفترة الرومانية لاسيما خلال العهد الإمبراطوري الأعلى. و يندرج ذلك ضمن نطاق سياسة روما الاقتصادية، التي تسعى إلى تحقيق الأمن الغذائي، وتوفير مصادر الإنتاج الخارجية لتغطية النقص في هذا المجال، مما سهل عملية التبادل التجاري مع مستوطناتها. this article aims to study the role of land rest stations in the past, and to identify their functions as components of commercial traffic, placed along roads, For the purpose of facilitating the process of movement and relief from the hardship of travel and the exchange of goods, which prompted us to shed light on the historical roots of land rest stations on commercial routes, Seeking to trace the development of its path over time , focusing on the Roman period, during the high imperial era as an example, using the descriptive analytical approach to reach the results, and previous studies related to the commercial movement in the ancient maghreb were also used . It is worth noting that the establishment of these stations is an ancient and authentic phenomenon, practiced by local people since the prehistoric period, despite their simplicity and lack of equipment. Thy sprea on the coastal areas in the phoenician period, and were strengthened in the middle of the internal land routes in the Roman period , especially during the High Imperial era. This falls within the scope of Rome’s economic policy, which seeks to achieve food security and production to cover the shortage in this area, which facilitated the process of trade exchange with its settlements.
