Résumé: نعالج في هذه الدراسة إشكالية المجتمعات الافتراضية، والأنماط العلائقية الجديدة التي فرضتها على الفاعلين، وربما زادت حدة تناول موضوع المجتمعات الافتراضية في الآونة الأخيرة مع الاستخدام الواسع لشبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، الأمر الذي ولد منظومة مفاهيمية جديدة جاءت نتيجة اجتهادات الباحثين وفق سياقات متعددة ومتنوعة ولعل أهمها مفهوم الرأسمال الاجتماعي الافتراضي. إن مصطلح الرأسمال الاجتماعي إنما هو محصلة انتاجات مفاهيمية بين مختلف الباحثين لعل أهمهم بيار بورديو، ولكننا حاولنا في هذه الدراسة تطويع خصائص هذا الرأسمال مع خصائص المجتمعات الافتراضية ليتولد لنا هذا المفهوم المركب، و لم نقف عند هذا الحد فحسب بل حاولنا أن ننظر إليه من زاوية قيمية، وإنما قصدنا الجانب القيمي بشقيه المضاميني والاستخداماتي مع ربط ذلك بأهم فئة تستخدم شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي وهم الشباب.
