Résumé: بالإضافة إلى التخصص في علم التاريخ، فقد عُرِف عن هذا المؤرّخ؛ ميوله إلى فنّ الأدب، حيث خلّف الكثير من الأشعار، كما حاول دراسة الأدب الجزائري الحديث، من وجهة نظر معينة، من خلال كتابه: دراسات في الأدب الجزائري الحديث. Abstract: In addition to this specialization in history, he had also some tendency and intentionsto the art of literature. This historian left a lot of poems; and he try to study the Algerian modern literature from his point of viewthrough his book: studies in modern Algerian literature.
