Résumé: Valley Ouargla, part of oasis ecosystem, contains significant agricultural potential made possible by a significant agricultural heritage in quantity and quality associated with intercropping. This work aims to: identifying problems and agro-technical constraints and their impact on agricultural development in the region Ouargla. The palm plantation of N'goussa represented the source of income of the wider population. The current situation of this palm plantation is in the process of degradation because of several constraints Our information on the history of the population in Ouargla and the palm plantation and its evolution in addition to our results of investigation enabled us to give explanations of the current situation and to arise the origins of the constraints of the degradation of this inheritance, which are mainly: bad hydrous stock management, bad adjustment of urban space as well as the degradation of vegetable cover and other constraints related primarily to the socio-economic changes of the oasis of N'goussa. The identification of the constraints of degradation of this palm plantation allowed us to suggest some solutions to rehabilitate and preserve this inheritance.
