Résumé: This study aims to identify the reality of sustainable consumption (SC) in Algeria, as one of the most important challenges of SDwhich is a necessity for countries today; by focusing on (NPA-SCPP2016-2030). As this concept has been considered as a pillar of SD policies since 1992, and it’s also included in Goal 12 of (SDG’s)set in 2015 Depending on the descriptive analytical approach;it was concluded that Algeria pays attention to this issue and exerts efforts to achieve it, despite the challenges that hinder its path and limit its results.algeria remains obligated to meet the basic needs of a growing poulation and to work towards their wellbeing. Thus, continuing to consume goods/services while protecting the environment and not depleting its resources, in order to preserve the rights of future generations.
