Art In Islam And The Debate Of Convergence And Divergence

Résumé: Abstract: This paper discusses the relationship between art and beauty on one hand, and religion on the other. It highlights how art enhances aesthetic values and enriches one’s faith. The text also examines the negative perception that associates art with immorality and vice, which has led to a lack of beauty in Arab societies and fostered an environment conducive to violence and extremism. Furthermore, it sheds light on the role of Islam in understanding arts such as singing, sculpture, and painting, as well as the need to explore the possibility of a relationship between art and religion. The text aims to clarify the interaction between spiritual and aesthetic experiences and to study the limits of mutual influence between them. ملخص: يتناول هذا المقال العلاقة المعقدة بين الفن والجمال من جهة، والدين من جهة أخرى. ويبرز دور الفن في تعزيز القيم الجمالية وإثراء الإيمان الروحي. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يناقش النص بشكل نقدي الصور النمطية السلبية التي تربط الفن كالانحلال والرذيلة، والتي أسهمت في ضعف حضور الفن والجمال في المجتمعات العربية وتهيئة بيئة ملائمة للعنف والتطرف. كما يستكشف النص رؤية الإسلام للفنون المختلفة مثل الغناء والنحت والرسم، مع الإشارة إلى إمكانية وجود تفاعل بين الفن والدين. ويهدف النص إلى توضيح العلاقة بين التجارب الروحية والجمالية، ودراسة حدود التأثير المتبادل بينهما.
