Design And Development Of A Framework To Simulate A Power Plant
Résumé: The aim of this thesis is to introduce the Modeling and simulation of power plant and to use computer simulation as a tool for conducting transient and control studies. This thesis began by presenting the mathematical models of the components that form the power plant. These included synchronous generators and their associated control systems, (LFC and AVR) and power transformer. Simulation is often chosen by engineers to study transient and control performance or to test conceptual designs. Matlab/Simulink software has been selected as it is the most used Software, provides the users to create the GUI and the high library it contains .It has been used to develop and design a GUI allowing to model a power plant together with it component such as AVR and LFC, the software allows to simulate the power plant in steady state and dynamic state where effect of load increase and decrease and occurrence of fault are highlighted. The interface of power plant helps the user to observe and compare all the performances of the power plant behavior with real data that may be obtained from real power plant.
