Résumé: The course of the study revolves around the election campaign for the December 12 presidencies through Al-Bilad newspaper, which is an analytical study of the content of Al-Bilad newspaper. The purpose of that is to identify the political reality that this newspaper wanted to form and formulate through its treatment of the facts of this campaign, in addition to trying to identify the nature of the relationship that It is linked to the ruling system in Algeria, and the main question around which this study was based came: How was the media handling of the election campaign for the presidencies of December 12, 2019 through Al-Bilad newspaper? Based on this, we followed a research plan starting with the methodological procedures within which the method used in the study falls, which is the content analysis method, which is most appropriate for such previous studies, in addition to three theoretical chapters in which we followed the clarification of some cognitive data regarding the written press as well as the electoral campaigns in addition to determining the existing relationship Between the media and the authority, and in order to reach the desired goal, we have made use of the following: The direction of the figure, which contains: the area category, the publication site, the press types, the means of support and highlighting and the typographical elements, and for the units we used a unit (cm2) to measure the area. Content orientation and this aspect consists of: the content category, the source category. As for the sample, it came individually from the Al-Bilad newspaper, which is a random sample totaling twelve out of (33) numbers in order to take into account the specificity of the election campaign. In the end, we find that Al-Bilad newspaper took an interest in the electoral campaign as a circulating event, and indications of this interest were evident in the daily and continuous coverage of this event within
