Impact Of Teachers’ Feedback On Efl Learners’ Academic Writing A Case Study Of Master One Efl Lmd Students At Mohamed Kheider University Of Biskra
Résumé: Abstract The core of conducting this research is to give the enlightenment of the effectiveness of teacher feedback on students’ academic writing productions and to illustrate their attitudes towards it. Academic writing is a significant skill which should be improved by the learners. In this study, we attempt to validate our hypothesis that is teachers’ feedback affects EFL students’ academic writing productions positively. In order to check out to what extent the suggested hypothesis is valid, we opted for a descriptive method. Tow data gathering tools were used namely a questionnaire designed for teachers who are in charge of Academic writing module at the division of English language at Mohammed Khider University of Biskra and students’ online questionnaire which was posted to 30 students’ of Master I classes, also a classroom observation was used. Ultimately, after we collected, analyzed, interpreted, and discussed the results obtained from both data gathering tools, The findings revealed that EFL students’ academic writing productions have been improved through receiving teacher’s feedback .Moreover, the findings assert that teachers’ feedback affects the learners’ academic writing productions positively. Furthermore, relying on the previous data, we confirm and valid the stated hypothesis.الملخص یتمثل جوھر ھذا البحث في تسلیط الضوء على أھمیة التغذیة الرجعیة "فیدباك" على النص الأكادیمي بھدف تحسین عملیة الإنتاج لدى الطلاب. یعتبر النص الأكادیمي من أھم المھارات التي یحتاج الطالب إلیھا أثناء ممارساتھ لعملیة الكتابة, ومن أجل تحقیق صحة الفرضیة التي تم اقتراحھا لھذه الدراسة العلمیة و التي تنص على أھمیة التغذیة الرجعیة و تأثیرھا على الإنتاج الأكادیمي للطالب, ومن أجل تحقیق ھذه الدراسة بوسیلتین لجمع المعلومات المطلوبة لتحقیق الفرضیة وتأكید صحتھا . تم استعمال استبیان خاص بأساتذة النص الأكادیمي في جامعة محمد خیضر بسكرة قسم اللغة الانجلیزیة , واستبیان للطلبة تم إیداعھ عبر الانترنیت ل 30 طالبا في قسم اللغة الانجلیزیة سنة أولى ماستر ثم استعملنا قائمة الملاحظات العیانیة.في النھایة و بعد ما تمت عملیة تحلیل المعطیات و تبعا للنتائج المتحصل علیھا تم إثبات صحة النظریة المقترحة و المتمثلة في أھمیة التغذیة الرجعیة و تأثیرھا غلى الطالب في إنتاجھ الأكادیمي. الكلمات المفتاحیة: التغذیة الرجعیة , النص الأكادیمي ,طلبة سنة أولى ماستر , جامعة محمد خیضر بسكرة.
