Résumé: The study aimed to highlight the main causes of the phenomenon of doping among Algerian athletes from the viewpoint of the professors of the Institute of Science and Techniques of Physical and Sports Activities and Ouargla. The student used the descriptive approach to address the study problem, as the researcher applied his study on a sample that included 20 professors from the Institute of Science and Technology of Physical and Sports Activities and ث Ouargla who were randomly selected by distributing electronic questionnaire forms to them to take their opinions and views on the topic and benefit from their answers and suggestions. Constructive purposes are purely scientific. Regarding the statistical aspect, the student used the percentages (%) and the Ka-2 test as a statistical method in the study, and the student concluded in his study that there are benefits that athletes reap from their intake of stimulants according to the opinion of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports professors, taking steroids negatively affects the performance Athletes According to the professors of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports, there are reasons that lead Algerian athletes to take steroids.
