Résumé: This study aims to find out the effect of sociodemographic factors on cesarean delivery, based on the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS6) 2019, By presenting and analyzing the data of women who have had live births during the past two years of the survey in simple and complex tables that contain two variables, the dependent variable translated by whether or not to undergo a caesarean section, and the independent variable represented in (age, educational level, work, region, wealth index, place of birth and residence). And then statistically testing the hypotheses and proving the relationship or influence between the two variables, if any, and determining the sociodemographic factors affecting the cesarean delivery. A number of results were reached, the most important of which is: Sociodemographic factors influence the caesarean section. The higher of the age, wealth index, and educational level, led to the higher probability of caesarean section.As for urban centers, private hospitals, and work, the probability of a caesarean section is greater than that of rural areas, public hospitals, and lack of work.
