Etude Comparative D’adsorption Des Chlorophénols Par Des Biomatériaux A Base De Chitosane Et Alginate.
Résumé: In this study, we are proposed to apply the process of sorption for two chlorophenols 2-4- dichlorophenol and 4-chlorophenol onto natural biomaterials: chitosan and alginate. Different models of kinetics (pseudo-first and second-order) and adsorption isotherms (Langmuir and Freundlich) are applied for the evaluation of the capacity of the biomaterials studied to adsorb chlorophenols. We can conclude that adsorption kinetics are of second order. The isotherms are well described by the Langmuir model, the thermodynamic parameters obtained indicate that the sorption process was exothermic and spontaneous.
