Résumé: The study aimed to identify the degree of addiction to social networking sites and its relationship to psychological fragility among students of Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla, focusing on Facebook as a social media as a model, the studied sample was represented in the students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Kasdi Merbah in Ouargla, and the descriptive analytical approach was used to study the subject from its theoretical side, and the case study was relied on through scientific observation, And the questionnaire, which was processed statistically using the statistical package program for social sciences spss, version 26, and the study concluded in its results that: The existence of an average level of addiction to social networking sites among students of Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla, the arithmetic average of the axis of addiction to social networking sites reached a value of (3.24), in addition to the presence of an average level of psychological fragility among students of Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla, the arithmetic average of the axis of psychological fragility reached a value of (3.25), and the results revealed a relatively medium positive relationship between addiction to social networking sites and the incidence of psychological fragility from the point of view of Students of Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla looked at the value of the Pearson correlation coefficient by 65%, and this relationship is statistically significant at the significance level (0.05).
