Résumé: Varraose is a parasitic disease that is caused by a Varroa destructor mite, it parasitizes brood and adult bees. It is the biggest threat to beekeeping around the world. Several means of treatment exist but the threat still persists. Several publications have appeared for years on this pathology based on experimental field and laboratory studies. The objective of this manuscript is to make a general synthesis on varroasis based on the latest scientific innovations, it is to highlight the biology of the mite, its development cycle, the effects of this parasite on the colonies. bees as well as the various treatments used to lower the mite infestation rate in bee colonie.
