Résumé: this note, we have dealt with an analytical study on the subject of the philosophy of beauty at George Santayana, where he viewed beauty as having its source in the human self, because it stems from an inner ecstasy that achieves true pleasure in the direction of something, and the senses are the first receiver of beauty, feeling it and tasting it, and thus enjoying it and feeling happiness, beauty An awareness of a value and not a reality based on three pillars: matter, form, and expression. Thus, making the field of beauty an important subject of study for many contemporary philosophers, and therefore this study aimed to identify the role and importance of beauty for man on his life
