Résumé: Sustainability is a modern approach to designing an environmental and economic building, and it occupies most of the attention of specialists and actors in the field of architecture and urban planning in our time, where the two environmental dimensions and economic are very important today. , and this with the aim of achieving a building that meets all the requirements of comfort and luxury for its users, economical in its construction and in its energy and water consumption and less impacting on the environment, this construction strategy is relatively recent in Algeria, where the majority of buildings lack the notions of comfort, economy and sustainability in general, especially for education and training institutions that need physical comfort conditions and psychological at the height of the functions assigned to them . At the level of our project, which is a national institute specialized in leather and wool and sustainable trades with a capacity of 300 students, we have referred to many notions related to the sustainable project, we have therefore granted the importance of integrating the project into its environment and of seeking the best possible match between the climate and the construction and the comfort of students, teachers and administrators and workers, as well as our quest for functional efficiency and enhancement of a distinguished architectural work. The design of this type of installation in the city of Djelfa, which is a semi-arid zone, cold in winter and hot in summer, requires studying all the climatic aspects and finding appropriate solutions in order to achieve an environment interior conducive to learning and training. Among these solutions in the design, a general mass for the project is semi-enclosed, orienting the blocks towards the southwest, using passages between the different components of the institute, creating protected and covered areas, using modern technologies to capturing and storing light and thermal energy for use in running facilities, using a plant water treatment system and using a solar water heater system
