أثر الوساطة المالية على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر: دراسة قياسية (1980- 2016)

Résumé: This paper aims to examine the impact of financial intermediation on economic growth for the case of Algeria over the period 1980-2016 using the methodology of cointegration, the vector error correction model (VECM) and the causality test of Granger. The study found that there is a cointegration relationship between the development of financial intermediation activity and the economic growth rate and the macroeconomic variables included in the model, The study also found causal relationships between the different variables of the model. The result indicate that there is a significant negative effect of development of financial intermediation activity on economic growth rate in the long run, so the role of the Algerian’s banks in the economy have not efficience, the results also show that the trade openness has a significant positive impact on economic growth in the long run. تهدف هذه الورقة إلى دراسة أثر الوساطة المالية على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة 1980-2016 باستخدام منهج التكامل المشترك ونموذج تصحيح الخطأ (VECM)واختبار العلاقة السببية، توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة تكامل مشترك بين تطور نشاط الوساطة المالية ومعدل النمو الاقتصادي ومتغيرات الاقتصاد الكلي المدرجة في النموذج، كما وجدت الدراسة علاقات سببية بين معظم متغيرات النموذج، وتشير النتائج إلى وجود تأثير سلبي معنوي لتطور نشاط الوساطة المالية على معدل النمو الاقتصادي في المدى الطويل، وبالتالي فإن دور البنوك الجزائرية في الاقتصاد ليس فعالا، كما تظهر النتائج بأن الانفتاح التجاري له تأثير إيجابي معنوي على معدل النمو الاقتصادي في المدى الطويل.
