Résumé: The role of school sport in the reduction of some social scourges field study of a sample taken from Mouadaa El Hashmi secondary school Chetma Biskara –in order to obtain a Master s from Biskra s University 2023 under the Supervision of Dr Kaddur Ezzedine The study aimed to learn about the role of school sport in reducing some of the social scourges that impact secondary school pupils Highlighting the relationship between school sport and student s personality self esteem and sports development highlighting the role of a professor of physical and sports education in improving the morality of adolescents the researcher used questionnaire with survey methods to fit it and the objectives and nature of the study and the sample of the study consisted of 71 students which were chosen randomly In order to achieve the objectives of this study a questionnaire which was devided into three parts was used the first part school sports the second part o school violence the third part drug abuse each of which is contained 5 Questions the results show that school sport plays an active and positive role in reducing certain social scourges contributes to strengthening the pupil s relationship with colleagues prevents violence and substance abuse and contributes to the spread of positivity in the school community
