Résumé: The study aimed to monitor the relationship between the directorial methods used in Algerian electronic newspapers and the most important design differences between them, and the readability of university students to their contents, by identifying the most important traditional and electronic typographical elements used to highlight the contents of colors, images, lines, shapes, supertexts, multimedia, separators and others, which directly affect the user's attention towards the contents provided and the extent of his satisfaction with them. This study comes within the framework of descriptive studies, using the survey methodology, and relied on two main tools for data collection: content analysis (how it was said) for the websites of the four Algerian newspapers (Al-Shaab Online, Sabq Press, Algeria Now, competition), and the questionnaire for a sample of students of the Faculty of Media, Communication and Audio-visual at the University of Saleh Boubneder Constantine 3. The researcher relied on a regular random sample of study newspapers according to the course method, for a period of three continuous months from January 01 to March 30, 2023, in addition to an intentional sample, represented by students of the Faculty of Information, Communication and Audio-visual at the University of Constantine3 consisting of 388. The analytical study concluded a set of results, the most important of which are:that each of the websites of the newspapers "Al-Shaab Online", "Algeria Now" and "Competition" rely on the portal method in producing the home page of their sites, while the website of "Sabq Press" newspaper relies on the mixed method, in addition to the uniqueness of the websites of the newspapers "Al-Shaab Online" and "Sabq Press" by providing interactive services to users such as commenting on content, sharing and even printing content. The field study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are:that most of the students surveyed are satisfied with the front page of the newspaper's website with a frequency of 104 and a rate of 33.4%, and what attracts them the most is the style of presenting the topics with a frequency of 83 and a rate of more than 26.7%. The effect of the output level on their interaction with the content was the average calculation of the answers (2.65), with a standard deviation of (0.19).
