Résumé: يعتبر المجتمع المدني ظاهرة قديمة فقد عرف هذا المفهوم بنظريات مختلفة وأ ا رء مفكرون مختلفة، حيث ظهر المجتمع المدني في العصر الحديث أكثر وذلك بدفاعه عن قظايا البيئة وحماية البيئة، على المستوى الوطني والعالمي وذلك للخطار التي لحقت بالبيئة المتمثلة في التلوث البيئي ومكافحة هذا الاخير عن طريق المجتمع المدني ومؤسساته الفاعلة في مجال حماية البيئة ألجل الحد من الاخطار التي تهدد البيئة والبشرية، فقد برهنت التطو ا رت المعاصرة على أهميته كآلية لتحقيق التنمية في جميع مبادئها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية وكذلك إمكانية مشاركة الدولة والقطاع الخاص في تربية المجتمعات وتنميتها.Civil society is an ancient phenomenon. This concept has been defined by different theories and opinions of different thinkers. Civil society has appeared in the modern era more by defending the issues of the environment and protecting the environment, at the national and global levels, due to the dangers afflicting the environment represented by environmental pollution and combating the latter through society. Civil society and its active institutions in the field of environmental protection in order to reduce the dangers that threaten the environment and humanity .
