دور الصحافة المكتوبة في التوعية بجرائم الألعاب الالكترونية- دراسة في إطار مقاربة البنائية الوظيفية The Role Of Press In Raising Awareness Of Video Games Crimes- A Study Within The Structuralism Functionalism Approach

Résumé: ملخص: إن اللعب نشاطٌ ذهني أو بدني يقوم به الفرد صغيراً كان أم كبيراً، بهدف تلبية رغباته وحاجاته المختلفة، وهو عند الأطفال ضرورةٌ من ضرورات الحياة، كالأكل، والنوم، والأمن، لذلك انتشرت الألعاب الإلكترونية في كثير من المجتمعات العربية والأجنبية، لما تتضمنه من رسوم و ألوان و خيال و مغامرة تجذب الأطفال، حتى استحوذت على عقولهم واهتماماتهم، وقد كشفت عديد الدراسات خلال الخمسة والثلاثين عاماً الأخيرة، أن هذه الألعاب التي يتم تقديمها للأطفال والمراهقين بصفتها نوعاً من أنواع التسلية والمتعة، ارتبطت بازدياد السلوك العنيف، وارتفاع معدل جرائم القتل، الاغتصاب والاعتداءات، لذا يجب على الصحافة المكتوبة، بوصفها أداة لتنوير وإصلاح المجتمع، القيام بدورها في التوعية بمخاطر الألعاب الإلكترونية، وذلك للمحافظة على استقرار المجتمع. Abstract: Playing is a mental or physical activity carried out by young and old individuals in order to meet their different wishes and needs. For children, playing is a basic necessity of life such as eating, sleeping and security. As a result, the video games have spread in many Arab and foreign societies for its drawings, colors, imagination and adventure which attract children, so that they possessed their minds and interests. During the last thirty five years, many studies have revealed that these games, which are presented to children and adolescents as a kind of entertainment, have been linked to the increase of violent behavior, higher homicide rates, rape and assaults. Therefore, the press, as a tool for enlightening and reforming the society, must play its role in raising awareness of the dangers of videogames in order to maintain the stability of society.
