فن التراجم بين الكتابة التاريخية والصناعة المعجمية - دراسة معجمية في كتب تراجم النحويين واللغويين

Résumé: يسعى هذا المقال إلى دراسة كتب تراجِم النحويين واللغويين من منظور مختلفٍ عن الدراسة النحوية التاريخية المرتبطة بموضوع وغاية هذه الكتب، فهو يتخذ من منهجية التأليف فيها مدخلا لولوج الدراسة وينطلق من فرضية تأثُّر هذه الكتب بالصناعة المعجمية العربية. إن هذا النمط من التأليف - وكتب التراجم عامة - يتخذ من أسماء الأعلام مادة أساسية يُرتِّبُها وفق ترتيبٍ زمني أو ألفبائي أو في طبقات ومراتب، وتُشكِّل الترجمةُ لأولئك الأعلام الغاية من التأليف. فهل يمكن وسمُ هذه الكتب بالمعاجم؟ Abstract: This paper examines the writings dealing with biographies of grammarians and language scholars. Unlike traditional studies of historical grammar that investigate their themes and aims, this study rather takes a different perspective to deal with the methodology of authoring those compositions as a starting point. It stems from the premise that these books are influenced by the Arabic lexicology traditions. The latter, along with books of biographies, uses the name of the scholar as theirsubject matter and organize them chronologically, alphabetically, or according to certain classifications and categories. Setting the biography of those grammarians and language scholars is the ultimate goal of writing such books. Hence, are these books also considered as lexicons?
