Résumé: The aim of this study, was to identify the effect of organizational culture on the organizational commitment in the electricity and gas distribution department of Sonalgaz in Ouargla-Algeria. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting information, It was distributed to a random sample of 127 employees from the study community, the data were analyzed based of SPSS Version 25,The study concluded the following main findings: The correlation between organizational culture and organizational commitment strong positive relationship dimensions of organizational culture: organizational structure, participation in the Decisions and performance guidance are the most important and influential in their order on the organizational commitment among the other dimensions of the organizational culture and there are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes of the employees to the organizational commitment in the electricity and gas distribution company of Sonalgaz in Ouargla-Algeria, due to personal and functional variables: gender ,age, educational level and experience beyond the nature of the post
