Electronic Payment Systems In Algeria

Résumé: Abstract: Electronic payment has emerged as a cornerstone of innovation, driving the development of new business models and services grounded in digital technology. This service significantly enhances the speed and efficiency of financial transactions when compared to traditional methods, which are often characterized by their complexity and sluggishness. From a societal perspective, electronic payments have become indispensable in daily life, reflecting a necessity dictated by the digital transformation and technological progress of the modern era. Nonetheless, despite the convenience they offer, electronic payment systems present notable risks, particularly regarding the vulnerability of personal and financial data to breaches and misuse. These risks necessitate intensified national and international efforts to combat the proliferation of cybercrime.
