Algerian Economic Structure: Analytical And Econometric Study
Résumé: This study aims to analyze the structure of the Algerian economy and to show the contribution of other economic sectors other than hydrocarbons to the GDP, by applying the ARDL model and the Toda-Yamamoto causality test for the period 1990-2019. Through the results that we have obtained, (SERV 32.97%, AGRI 12.68%, BTP 9.55%, INDUS 8.19%), the structure of the Algerian economy will not experience any major change and things will stay the same in the long run. It is therefore imperative to speed up the reforms necessary to diversify the Algerian economy and activate the other sectors that make up the structure of the economy other than hydrocarbons.
