The Effectiveness Of The Economic Diversification Policy, The Case Of Algeria: Econometric Study (2000-2019)
Résumé: This study's primary purpose is to analyze the impact of economic diversification represented in sectors (agriculture, industry, and services) on economic growth in Algeria during the period (2000-2019). To test the hypotheses, data covering a period were collected from multiple databases (National office of statistics (ONS), World Bank, Bank of Algeria) and submitted on the joint integration test and the stability test through an econometric model. The analysis results suggest that there is a relationship in the short term between the growth of the GDP and the determinants of economic diversification represented in the agricultural sector and the Industrial sector and the service sector.
