Evaluation Of The Financial Performance Of Commercial Banks During The Period 2008-2013 A Case Study Of A Group Of Malaysian Commercial Banks

Résumé: This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of a group of Malaysian commercial banks, during the period ranged between 2008 and 2013, this period encounters the global financial crisis, which was spread in the world in late 2008. This research seeks to address The level of financial performance of these banks in the same period. For this purpose, we analyse the financial ratios of these banks showing their performance in liquidity, profitability, asset quality, debts and risk. The results obtained show that the financial performance of these banks has been weak, despite the high liquidity ratio and also the capital adequacy ratio, this is a result of dicrease in returns and increase in debt ratio and an increased level of risk in these banks.
